personal difficulties

Ah, woops. Time's been slipping though my fingers. I said I'd be back in May, then June, and now it's July. Apologies.

I'm once again really struggling with this one, but at this point I think it's because I overestimated myself. I've been working non-stop on comics since this time last year, on at least four comics, and I think I hit my limit haha. I finally finished up Volume 3 of Paint the Town Red last month, so June was meant to be a bit of my "break". I was still hoping to get SanCirc up and running by then, but I think I need to realize that's not possible. I really do need a break.

It's frustrating to have SanCirc falling by the wayside all the time--this is the only comic I have on my roster that I do pretty much 100% myself, so it gets harder to complete. Having it THIS CLOSE to the end makes it all the more frustrating, but it is what it is.

This is mostly a pressure I put on myself--you guys have been nothing but wonderful and patient, and I'm so grateful for that. I think to move forward I need to also take this pressure off of myself, because it's not really helping me get this comic done.

I DID manage some work on the new chapter: it's thumbnailed, and I've begun sketching. I think, from here, SanCirc will be uploaded in batches instead of individual pages during the week--this means less frequent updates, but more content in each one. That way I don't have to chase buffers all the time, and they'll be done as I finish them. I am hoping to get to that as soon as I can, but I'm also giving myself some time. I really want to get this chapter started for you guys at least before the end of the year.

In the meantime, of course, there's Paint the Town Red, which is now updating frequently, as well as Augustine which has a whole chapter done now. And a reminder my graphic novel, Lost Time, comes out October 3rd. My partner and I also reopened our Patreon recently--it'll have some early pages of all our comics, but there's no obligation there.

Thanks as always for being so sweet and patient. Comics are on the way, they're just slow!
